A new collection published by Ut Orpheus cured by M° Lucio Matarazzo with the participation of M° Marco Caiazza at the guitar.

Lucio Matarazzo studied at the Conservatory “D. Cimarosa” of Avellino under the guidance of E. Caliendo and graduated cum laude. He then attended masterclasses with O. Ghiglia and J. Tomas and further trained with A.Gilardino at the Academy “L. Perosi” of Biella, where he graduated with special mention. He performed for over 20 years in duo with M. Fragnito and won several international competitions. He published several works by authors like Dodgson, Piazzolla, Castelnuovo Tedesco, Ruiz-Pipò, Farkas. His solo CDs dedicated to Carcassi, Legnani and Giuliani registered a great success at international level.
He founded GuitArt Quartet, one of the most innovative guitar ensembles of today’s international scene that gave absolute first performances of concerts dedicated to A. Gilardino (Concerto Italiano), L. Brouwer (Concierto Italico and Gismontiana) and Concerto Rapsodico by G. Drozd. With L. Brouwer he recorded a DVD “Diario Italico” including the world première of the Concierto Italico directed by the composer. He is professor of guitar at Avellino Conservatory and founder and artistic director of the new Italian WeBlogMagazine “dotGuitar”.
