Presentation cured by Luca Alessandrini.
Born in Urbino, he studied mechanics, communication science and industrial design. In 2010 he graduated in Industrial Design at the Italian Academy of Florence and in 2016 he graduated cum laude in Innovation Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College of London. He then registered two patents for an innovative technology aimed at “acoustic customization” that relies on the special features of innovative materials. Thanks to this technology he created two violins, a guitar and a bass amplifier made of silk, spider silk and carbon fiber that draw the attention of world media and were particularly appreciated by major musicians. With his startup Fibreacoustics, Luca is now working at new prototypes.
