Cremona Musica is the place where professionalism and passion meet each other to establish new cooperation projects and deliver new business opportunities.

A community as big as world

Cremona Musica is a big Exhibition, but also a renowned meeting point, a precious educational and specialization opportunity and a unique show for the whole community. All the events have been studied and developed together with our artistic advisers to involve both professionals and lovers of the music world. Great Music is for everybody.

    • Alessio Ambrosi, Artistic Director of the Acoustic Guitar village. He is the president of the cultural association Armadillo Club aimed at promoting musical culture and at organizing high-quality live music shows.

 

    • Ettore Borri, Professor of Piano at the Conservatory of Milan. He cooperated with La Scala Museum Theatre to organize historical events, both as concert performer and lecturer and as artistic advisor. He performs both at national and international level and is member of the working group “Evalutation Board Criteria” of the ANVUR (Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research Systems).

 

    • Pier Calderan, Journalist and Maker specialized in technology applied to music. He is the author of several specialized issues and makes use of his digital knowledge also in the field of music teaching and planning.

 

    • Luciano Del Rio, President of AIARP – Italian Association of Piano Tuners and Repairers and one of the major piano experts of our times. The Association AIARP is aimed at providing professional training for its members through technical conferences focusing on different aspects of piano tuning and restoration.

 

  • Salvatore Lombardi, President of the Associazione Flautisti Italiani – Italian Flautists Association, also known as “the Italian voice of Flute”. Multifaceted artist, he is concert performer, professor and artistic director of international flute events.

 

    • Anna Lucia Maramotti Politi, President of ALI – Italian Violin-making Association. She is professor of Theories and History of Restoration at the Polytechnic University of Milan and professor of Aesthetics at the School of Specialization for Architectural and Landscape Heritage (S.S.B.A.P.) of the same University. She wrote several essays on restoration theories, aesthetics and on violin-making principles. She is also the director of the Italian Magazine Liuteria Musica Cultura.

 

    • Filippo Michelangeli, publisher of Suonare News, one of the most popular Italian monthly magazine for musicians. He studied guitar, piano and composition at the Conservatory of Piacenza.

 

    • Roberto Prosseda, Italian pianist with a cosmopolitan soul, he is famous for his recordings of unpublished pieces of Felix Mendelssohn. He is one of the most beloved pianists at international level. Among others, he played with Santa Cecilia Academy of Rome, La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra, Berliner Symphoniker and London Philharmonic Orchestra.

 

  • Piero Vincenti, President of the Accademia Italiana del Clarinetto – Italian Clarinet Academy. He played as solo chamber musician and concert performer in Europe, USA, South America and Asia and is Professor of Clarinet at the Conservatory of Cesena.

The archtop guitar is often credited to Orville Gibson; however, Gibson was not the first to apply violin design principles to the guitar.
