The Italian Bluegrass Meeting comes back to Cremona

The Italian Bluegrass Meeting comes back to Cremona. The famous festival with live performances and workshops focusing on the music genre born in the 40s in Kentucky thanks to Bill Monroe‘s inspiration will take place on Saturday, September 30th 2017 within the Acoustic Guitar Village, the section of Cremona Musica especially dedicated to guitars. Cremona Musica, historical Exhibition of high quality musical instruments now at its 30th edition, features a rich programme of 120 events and is scheduled from September 29th to October 1st, 2017.

The Italian Bluegrass Meeting, reaching this year its fifth edition (the second in a row in Cremona), directed and coordinated by the great banjoist Danilo Cartia, is not only the meeting point par excellence for the Italian community of old time American music lovers, but also an international festival involving talented bands and attracting a wide and varied audience. The meeting takes place on a stage rich in suggestions from the US that recreate those country atmospheres typical of the Bluegrass.
